Day 3 - Paris - The Seine at Night

After all of our adventures and misadventures throughout the day we decided to cap off the evening off with a cruise on the Seine.  We left the dock by the Eiffel Tower right as dusk was setting in and by the time we got back it was very dark.  The sights were lit up so beautifully and temperature was perfect.  Sadly, the camera did not like the movement of the boat and the dim lighting, so the pictures aren't the greatest.

The Eiffel Tower at dusk.

Unidentified church steeple.

One of the two clock towers at the Musee d'Orsay.

Le Pont Alexandre III Bridge.

The top of another building I do not remember.

Notre Dame.

And the Eiffel Tower once again lit up at night.

Even with all the bumps in the road and failed attempts at sightseeing, it was my absolute favorite day of our entire trip.  Would do it again in a heartbeat!  I got to see almost everything I dreamed of seeing in Paris in one very full and very long day!

Isn't that Notre Dame's church steeple?

The top of the other building you do not remember...isn't that the Sorbonne?

I love the pics of the Eiffel Tower at night. Pierre would be impressed!

No it isn't Notre Dame... If you look closely this steeple is far less adored than Notre Dame's and from the pictures I can tell it is further down river. Also it isn't the Sorbonne because the Sorbonne isn't on the river. Good try though! :)
