By now all of the wait staff got in on the dancing!

And there might have been a little jumping roping with a table cloth.

And then I did what I swore I would never do, run into the ocean with my wedding dress on!

St Lucia - Let's Get This Party Started!

After an awesome tropical dinner, it was time to get our party started.  We really just wanted the DJ to play good music and he did not disappoint. In addition to the songs we requested he played all sorts of crazy fun music American and even St Lucia.

My parents enjoying the scene in front of them.

And soon after dinner the bar tender sent over a TRAY of shots, larger gnarly tasting shots!

One of my favorite pictures of the day is this one the photographer caught of Anna.  She looks so beautiful and happy and you can just tell from the picture how much she can light up a room.

So glad these two made the trek to St Lucia!

Mmmm blue drinks and pretty blue dresses!

Adam danced A LOT and there are many pictures to show it!

And Jon might have sung a song or two. :)

And danced.  I was not without a blue drink very often!

This was our wedding coordinator Lorna. She was awesome. Smugglers Cove, for the win!  She loved hanging out with Annika.

St Lucia - Reception

I didn't really have a vision or even worry about the details for the reception. Fortunately Smuggler's Cove took good care of this in this area.  For flowers I stated the random combination of pink, yellow, orange and white and I got the beautiful decorations below.  They made the tables look so nice, it was just perfect.

We placed the tables in a "U" shaped which I really liked.  It let everyone see everyone and talk across the room easily.

Alex, Elizabeth and my dad gave the speeches.

Grinning like a fool during the speeches.

First dance to Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are."

Mother/Son dance to Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide."

The boy's commiserating.

Father/Daughter dance to Kenny Loggin's "Turn Around."

The cake was quite small but we ate less than 1/4 of it during the wedding. It provided dessert for a couple additional days at the resort.  Half chocolate for me and half vanilla for Darren.
